Navy Veteran Brings Unique Skill Sets To CNSI Team

At CNSI, our employees are the foundation for our innovative products and ideas. They constantly create and develop concrete solutions that allow us to advance the health IT industry in ways unimaginable. We take pride in the employees that we hire and are constantly looking for new avenues to expand our employee base.
So when Michigan Governor Rick Snyder introduced the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) to help employ military veterans, CNSI was eager to explore opportunities in working with these experienced professionals with diverse backgrounds. This past July, Sharif Hussein, CNSI’s senior vice president of the Midwest region, utilized the MVAA and hired Naval Veteran Jerrad Carlisle to assist with our ongoing initiatives in that state.
Over the past several years, CNSI has developed a strong partnership with Michigan, designing and implementing the Michigan Community Health Automated Medicaid Processing System and designing and managing the state’s Medicaid Management Information System.
As a Business Analyst in CNSI’s Lansing office, Carlisle has established himself as a valuable asset who enhances the work that we do. His military background provides him with a heightened sense of discipline, proven leadership and a strong work ethic not commonly found elsewhere.
Carlisle served in the United States Navy and onboard the USS Mount Whitney, in Gaeta, Italy, working with NATO on diplomatic missions. His background, similar to his many military veteran peers, translates into a wide-ranging expertise that is often unparalleled by other candidates.
