Rockville, MD – May 18, 2020 – CNSI, a leading business solutions provider in developing and delivering innovative health information technology solutions, announced today that Heidi Robbins Brown – a nationally recognized expert in Medicaid policy, operations, and information systems – has joined CNSI. Robbins Brown will serve as Vice President of Medicaid Policy and Programs, where she will lead CNSI’s efforts related to Medicaid policy, products, and services. Robbins Brown brings valuable experience and insight to CNSI at a time when the industry is changing rapidly, and especially now as State Medicaid Agencies work to respond swiftly and decisively to new requirements related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Robbins Brown comes to CNSI with over six years of national health care consulting and 23 years of state and federal government service. From 2002-2013, she served the Washington Medicaid program as the Deputy Medicaid Director and oversaw the replacement of the state’s legacy Medicaid Management Information System. Robbins Brown was elected for six straight years as President and Vice-President of the National Association for Medicaid Program Integrity and was part of the team that established the Medicaid Integrity Institute. From 2013-2019, she served as Principle Consultant with both HMA and HMS – specializing in Medicaid Systems, Program Integrity and Data Analytics and Cost Containment initiatives.

“Heidi has exceptionally strong experience in Medicaid policy and, just as important, knows how to implement policy to improve the lives of the most vulnerable Medicaid populations,” said Todd Stottlemyer, CEO, CNSI. “Her experience as a client and her ability to advise states and health plans across the country will help us shape our Medicaid technology roadmap, products, and services for years to come.”

“Public service is very much part of who I am as a person,” said Robbins Brown. “The opportunity to combine my public policy background with CNSI’s commitment to serving government clients that provide health care benefits is a perfect fit – I’m thrilled to join the team.”
