Baltimore, MD – The 7th Annual State Healthcare IT Connect Summit presented by Healthcare IT Connect in partnership with NASCIO, APHSA, eHI and Health Affairs concluded early last week. The two-day program brought together public- and private-sector thought leaders to share ideas and benchmark implementation strategies of state health IT systems as they move forward with diverse health reform and transformational agendas.

CNSI was a proud sponsor of the event, which took place in Baltimore on March 21-22. On Monday, conference attendees were invited to the “Meet the Innovators” round table, in which Karen Parker, Michigan Deputy Director of DHHS and John Harding, CNSI’s Senior Director of Operations & Infrastructure, shared the background, benefits, and lessons learned behind the Michigan-Illinois Cloud Solution.

CNSI carried its thought leadership into Tuesday morning when Arvinder Singh, CNSI’s Chief Health Innovation Officer, sat with other distinguished panelists from the government, private and nonprofit sectors to discuss State Innovation, Data Analytics and Population Health Management. The group discussed the challenges and innovations around gathering quality data in order to improve quality of care.

Videos and resource materials for conference sessions are available via the Healthcare IT Connect Conference Archives.
