CNSI Receives Two Alliance for Workplace Excellence Awards

Health IT Provider Earns Distinctions for Health & Wellness and Workplace Excellence

The honors recognize employers that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to workplace quality and employee health and wellness.

 CNSI was awarded the AWE Workplace Seal of Excellence Award for its outstanding commitment to workplace quality, including its diversity practices and life-work balance programs. The AWE Health and Wellness Seal of Approval Award recognizes CNSI programs that promote a healthy lifestyle. Within iCare – the umbrella under which all corporate social responsibility initiatives fall – CNSI has implemented a wellness program that has engaged a record numbers of employees. Included in the program are an onsite fitness center, a twelve-week wellness challenge, company-sponsored sports teams, and onsite flu shots.

 The program also offers the CNSI Wellness Tool Reimbursement Benefit, which grants employees up to $50 per year towards the purchase of a wellness item that promotes their personal wellness goals. CNSI offers onsite classes, including meditation and nutrition, which are held over the lunch hour to allow employees a break in their day.

“The program has created a positive atmosphere and resulted in noticeably increased employee morale and productivity,” said Singh. “Employees have gained new skills for stress management and health education as a direct result of these offerings.”
