CNSI Day is a celebration of our employees and families and the impact we have in our communities around the world. Held annually on May 20th in commemoration of the date of our founding, CNSI Day is our opportunity to give back to the people that make our collective success possible – from Rockville, MD, Lansing, MI, Springfield, IL, Salt Lake City, UT, Los Alamos, NM and Olympia, WA, all the way to Chennai, India, we partake in seasonal festivities and philanthropic efforts that are a synthesis of our shared values, thriving culture and favorite pastimes.   

CNSI Day at Corporate Headquarters commenced at High Point Farm in Maryland with a picnic and outdoor games. Super fun activities like a 1-mile family run, Hoppy-Ball and Hula Hoop contests and lots of dancing helped us set aside all our work projects for one Saturday and spend quality time together. What could be better than seeing Senior Vice Presidents Vijay Mishra and Jay Majmudar in a hoppy-ball contest? Well, the DVD donation drive to benefit troops overseas and the fundraising efforts to help eliminate hunger in Montgomery County, Maryland were pretty special in their own right.

We celebrated in all of our communities around the world in turn. Here are some highlights:

Chennai, India – On-the-spot pencil portraits, candid photo sessions and a riotous flash mob. Donations benefited the Good Life Center.

Lansing, Michigan – Volleyball, a laser maze, video games and bowling. Donations benefited Lansing Food Bank.

Los Alamos, New Mexico – Attended an Albuquerque Isotopes baseball game. Donations benefited San Martin de Porres Soup Kitchen.

Olympia, Washington – Cookout and outdoor games. Donations benefited Thurston County Food Bank.

Salt Lake City, Utah – Laser tag, bumper boats, go-karts, mini golf, and video games. Donations benefited Volunteers of America and The Road Home.

Springfield, Illinois – Mini golf, arcade games and a picnic. Donations benefited the Springfield Ronald McDonald House.

CNSI’s founding moment is still resonating for each of our families and in our communities 22 years later, and we are happy to share it with everyone. Overall, we raised close to $10000 for important causes and spent 48 hours of bonding time together. The priceless looks of joy on all of our childrens’ faces made us think what it will be like to celebrate CNSI Day in another 22 years. As always, CNSI Day was a smashing success. Next year we will continue the tradition and come together for a spirited jamboree with lots of ways to give back.
